I am a professional guide with an irrepressible enthusiasm for Wildlife photography. A born and bred Zimbabwean and having grown up on a tobacco farm I was exposed to the great outdoors from a young age. Now with more than 10 years' experience in 5 countries and many hours spent behind a camera, I lead photographic safaris to the wildest places in Africa. My photography website is a intimate collection of raw and powerful African images, mainly of wildlife and natural scenes.
I enjoy epic wildlife photography, those moments that just knock your socks off and leaves you in awe. Hoping that you managed to capture that moment, enabling you to share it with the World!
Regards
Etienne

A life with photography
I bought my first camera a Canon 300D in 2003, at the time it was a huge investment compared to today. The need for a camera only arose after my very first leopard sighting in the wild area of Northern Natal. It was a sight not many people have witnessed, let alone recorded with a camera. A young male leopard, who had just been exiled from his mother territory probably by his father, stumbled upon a 3m python. He was at an age where the act of hunting and killing was over ruled by his childish nature to play with everything he found. We sat for hours watching this young cat play with a snake quite capable of killing it and I dont have one picture to prove what we witnessed that day.....
Through this blog I would like to show case my images and photographs taken through out the African Continent.
I wrote the following 4 years ago ...
With the future plan of providing specialized photographic tours. I have seen a growing need for the "photo-safaris' to be reinvented or redefined, as it use to simply mean going on safari to take pictures. With the advent of the Digital Single-lens Reflex camera (DSLR) and the cost there of becoming more affordable. I believe more people would like to take full advantage of their equipment and use it to its maximum capabilities, having someone one with you on your photo-adventure, to providing information from real life experience and to ask questions from, will be invaluable to capturing images of the once in a life-time sighting.
In October 2010 with the launch of Photographic Africa Wildlife | Images | Safaris, This has become a reality, In conjunction with Wild Frontiers, I will being leading photographic safaris and expeditions through out Africa.
